BTS: The Posh Fairy for L’Occitane Au Bresil

My latest project for Posh Fairy was a shoot for the soon to be launched L’Occitane au Bresil; a new brand with a French soul and a Brazilian heart. Traveling through the waters of Brazil, Olivier Baussan; the founder of L’Occitane en Provence discovered rich and exuberant eco-systems with fascinating ingredient stories, this encounter of Brazilian liveliness with L’Occitane’s values inspired to create a new brand: L’Occitane au Bresil.

The concept of the shoot was obviously inspired by Brasil, the beauty, the vivid colors, and the tradition. After scouting a few potential locations, we decided to shoot at a nursery, and Home & Garden were more than welcoming of the idea, and offered us complete access to their showroom. I will be sharing the final shots with you very soon, as they are currently exclusive material to Styles Magazine June issue.

And lastly for now, I would like to bring your attention towards every person who worked with me on this shoot, the team was in amazing harmony and they made the entire project such a great experience. A big thank you goes to all of them.

Review: Soap & Glory ‘Heel Genius’

I’m a product junkie! So i must admit, I try A LOT of products before I can really stick to one that I love, and I’m a very tough judge when it comes to which products those would be! But when I came across this one, I though not sharing it with you dolls would almost feel like a crime! Soap & Glory’s Heel Genius: Amazing Foot Cream, and it literally live up to its name!

Better than a pedicure? Oh yeah! It renovates rough feet in a single overnight session, doubles as a foot cream, and will give even the roughest of cuticles a run for its money. Featuring allantoin, glycerin, macadamia oil, menthol, bilberry, orange and lemon fruit acid smoothers. long story short, byebye cracked summer heels!

The way it works for me? Before bedtime, I scrub my feet while washing them, then run to my beloved cream, massage a good chunk onto my feet, and I don’t rub it all the way through, I kinda leave a light layer of it on, sort of looks like foot mask, then slip my feet into cotton socks, and let it work its wonders while I’m getting my beauty sleep! Result: Waking up to soft-as-ever gorgeous feet from heel to toes.

Heel Genius is available at all Boots stores.

Josephine de La Baume in H&M Summer Looks

When actress, singer and model Josephine de La Baume was asked to make her pick of the key Summer looks at H&M, it was all about the mix. She matched the season’s key white lace dress with black flats and black sunglasses, or toughened her look by wearing a zip-up biker over Ikat print top and skirt with white heels. Josephine’s other key pieces include a denim dress, a velvet trimmed utility jacket, an animal print skirt and this summer’s essential straw hat.

“I love renewing my summer wardrobe at H&M. I’m always more interested in pieces that tell a story, which I can put together to create my own personal look. I’m usually a tomboy, but in summer I’m reborn a woman, and always go for dresses and flowery prints. My favourite accessory of the season is the straw hat, very French, very 50s, and perfect for right now”, says Josephine.

Starbucks Summer Drink: Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino

I was invited to try the new Starbucks Summer Drink: Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino, and learn how to make it the right way too! 😉

I got to Starbucks training room in Alshaya’s head offices with a bunch of bloggers; we were welcomed by The Starbucks Team and of course, before we got to work, we had to try some coffee

Then the fun begun! We moved to the coffee-making station to practice making the perfect Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino

The steps were demonstrated and placed on the table to avoid any confusion

And before we start making our own, we got to see how by 2 of Starbucks well-trained staff

This is the professional end result 😛

And after PinkGirlQ8 & I teamed up, this was our team’s version of it..Close enough, no? Yummy too! And perfect for hot summer days

We finally went back to our seats for a friendly chit-chat with Michelle Gass, The President of Starbucks EMEA and some other members of the Starbucks international team. It was very interesting, and we made some suggestions that they were very open to.

And of course, it’s not really a gathering without food 😛

Thank you Starbucks, & Alshaya team for the fun invitation. Wish you all the best of luck with all your upcoming launches.

Aloe Vera Hair Mask

My latest addiction this summer has been the Aloe Vera hair mask..It’s so refreshing, and gives a great feel to the hair and the sculp..I usually get it done at Nail It..It’s great!! And what I love about it is that it’s not a bottled or stored mask..Its exactly like the picture below..Aloe Vera cut in pieces, and they squeeze the gel straight onto your hair..truly 100% natural 😀 It’s pretty convenient too, but because of time limitations, or sometimes, no availability at the salon, I don’t get to do it as many times as I would want..

So I was wondering if you my beautiful girls could give me a tip on how to get this done at home? Or do you have other hair beauty secrets to protect your hair against the summer heat and keep it fresh and bouncy? Spell it out 😉
