The drop-down-gorgeous international supermodel Miranda Kerr have recently been announced the face of the H&M Spring Summer 2014 campaign. The Australian beauty manages to make everything look so good! I’m so excited for the news and I cant wait to see more of this amazing collaboration.
I was very lucky to be the only one in Kuwait who got their hands on the collaborated Isabel Marant pour H&M collection, to use at a photoshoot of my creation for The City Magazine, November Issue 2013. The photos are finally out and I’m very excited to share.

The images of the Isabel Marant for H&M collection have finally arrived. Every single piece of it; from womenswear and menswear to teen and accessories, the collection does not disappoint. An embellished trophy, leather cropped trousers, a loose peasant top with printed jeans; and mannish outerwear with white trousers and slouchy boots with fringed detailing. Start making your wishlist now, before the collection lands in stores on November 14.
Creating wearable looks with attitude is Isabel Marant’s straightforward design credo. Her collection for H&M synthesizes this distinctive philosophy: real clothes that capture the moment. Picking up the most beloved and iconic pieces from her career, Marant has put together an eclectic wardrobe of must-have urban staples with trademark Parisian flair. Everything a contemporary woman needs is included, from tees to sweatshirts, from tailored outerwear to dresses, from chunky knits to attractive boots and bohemian accessories. Everything goes with everything because Isabel is convinced that style is all about individual attitude.
For the very first time, Isabel Marant has also created a compact wardrobe for men, which is interspersed with the same multiculti careless vibe of the womenswear. There is precisely-tailored outerwear and heavy-knits; motorbike leather trousers are matched with tie-dye T-shirts; western-style jeans and shirts share room with the iconic hooded sweatshirt. Sporty pieces have an air of vintage Americana.
The same free-mix spirit extends to the teen wardrobe which is a playful edit of its grown-up counterpart, with a stress on prints. Marant sees no real distinction between these two efforts – it’s mostly a matter of sizes. As a designer who first started rebelling against accepted norms as a teenager, it makes perfect sense to her.

Last week I was invited the the private preview of H&M Autumn 2013 Paris Fashion Week collection. H&M has always been one of my absolute favorite brands, so being able to preview this collection and try on some of the amazing pieces was a pure joy. Loved it, elegant, beautiful fabrics & designs; with the most eccentric pieces being nude colored furry coats, velvet capes, cropped military jackets, next to biker caps sported with stress-embroidered tunic dresses and over-the-knee leather boots. Exciting news! My most favorite model of them all, the stunning Gisele Bündchen is the new face and voice of H&M’s Autumn Campaign 2013! Yes, Voice too! The international supermodel will wear the season’s essential pieces at H&M, a tough but feminine look straight from the streets of utilitarian coats and blazers worn with blouses, sweatshirts and trousers. In a world exclusive, Gisele will also be singing in the campaign which includes TV and online commercials, as well as print and billboard advertising, debuting on September 12. The song, “All Day And All Of The Night”, by The Kinks, will be available for free download from hm.com, and will also be on iTunes, raising money for UNICEF. For every single download from iTunes, H&M will make a donation to UNICEF to enable the purchase of vaccines for children. Cant Wait!

Drama with a tomboy spirit, a meeting between uniform and tailoring, here are the latest Autumn trends from H&M headquarters.
H&M presents the chic, modern drama feminine self-confidence woman with fashion attitude. The AW 2013 collection has been designed by H&M’s own design team. The collection mixes tailoring with glamour embroidery to create contrasts full of a tomb boy spirit. This a very special collection to our customers as for the very first time they will find the collection which was presented in Paris Fashion Week that took place in February 27. Women’s & men’s Autumn collection will launch in stores on September 5.
H&M finally announced its autumn collaboration and oh how happy I was to know it was with one of my absolute favorite designer, the Parisian Isabel Marant!! With her effortless style, Isabel Marant has created a widely influential and successful take on Paris chic. Mixing urban attitude, boho elegance and rock ‘n’ roll spirit, she delivers a genuine French allure. For H&M, Isabel Marant will create a wardrobe of must-have pieces inspired by her signature style. Available from November 14, 2013, in around 250 stores worldwide and online, and of course in Kuwait! the collection features clothing and accessories for women and teenagers. Isabel Marant will also, for the first time, create a collection for men!
“I am flattered by this collaboration. H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honor. I aim at creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look attractive. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts. My take on fashion is all about personality,” ~Isabel Marant.
When actress, singer and model Josephine de La Baume was asked to make her pick of the key Summer looks at H&M, it was all about the mix. She matched the season’s key white lace dress with black flats and black sunglasses, or toughened her look by wearing a zip-up biker over Ikat print top and skirt with white heels. Josephine’s other key pieces include a denim dress, a velvet trimmed utility jacket, an animal print skirt and this summer’s essential straw hat.
“I love renewing my summer wardrobe at H&M. I’m always more interested in pieces that tell a story, which I can put together to create my own personal look. I’m usually a tomboy, but in summer I’m reborn a woman, and always go for dresses and flowery prints. My favourite accessory of the season is the straw hat, very French, very 50s, and perfect for right now”, says Josephine.
