Spring Makeup Trends 2014 from Pond’s Arabia

Radiant orchid is the color of the year for 2014! You’ll be seeing it from clothes to bags to coats. Adding orchid into your makeup bag is a must! Try the trend by applying some orchid eye shadow to your eyelids or a beautiful orchid shaded gloss. You will love it!

H&M Autumn 2013 Collection Preview

Last week I was invited the the private preview of H&M Autumn 2013 Paris Fashion Week collection. H&M has always been one of my absolute favorite brands, so being able to preview this collection and try on some of the amazing pieces was a pure joy. Loved it, elegant, beautiful fabrics & designs; with the most eccentric pieces being nude colored furry coats, velvet capes, cropped military jackets, next to biker caps sported with stress-embroidered tunic dresses and over-the-knee leather boots. NYFW: Marchesa SS2014 RTW

Marchesa is one of my timeless favorite designers, this year, her Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week spring/summer 2014, ready to wear collection was flowing with ease as fabrics gently slipped along the bodies of the models like a dream out of a fairy-tale. There were some obvious boudoir influences as well, with lingerie detailing on some of the more slip-like numbers and wispy lace cardigans thrown over bralets, worn with big organza and tulle skirts.

NYFW: Victoria Beckham SS2014 RTW

Feminine, minimal, and edgy, came to us Victoria Beckhams’s spring/summer 2014 ready to wear collection at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week. White shirts, camisole tops, dresses over pants, and men’s tailoring. More daring and versatile than Victoria ever was with her collections over the last few years. To me, it still carries her signature style in different cuts. I absolutely love Victoria and everything she does, so enjoy the show.

NYFW: Noon By Noor SS2014 RTW

The Gulf region’s only designers on Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week’s schedule, Sheikha Noor Al Khalifa and Sheikha Haya Al Khalifa of Noon by Noor, delivered their spring/summer 2014 ready to wear collection in full-bloom at NYFW to the likes of front row admirers, Solange Knowles and DJ Leigh Lezark. Silhouettes were streamlined, elegant, and femininely authoritative as displayed by voluminous rounded shoulders and slim-fit suits. Bahrain is making me proud!
