TRESemmé Returns as Hair Care Sponsor of NY Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

As part of its role as the longest-running official hair care sponsor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, TRESemmé partnered with contemporary women’s fashion designer Vivienne Tam. Led by the brand’s global stylist Matthew Curtis, the TRESemmé international team of stylists created the latest hair trends to accompany Tam’s newest collection, which debuted on Sunday, Feb. 9, at New York City’s Lincoln Center. In addition to its sponsorship of Vivienne Tam Autumn/Winter 2014 collection, TRESemmé also partnered with modern and flirty women’s wear designer Stacey Bendet, who hosted a presentation of her alice + olivia line at The McKittrick Hotel in New York City during the same week. The alice + olivia designs blend eclectic fabrics and patterns, creating bold and perfectly-tailored pieces.

Additionally, TRESemmé partnered with designers Rebecca Minkoff, Marissa Webb and Jenny Packham to create show-stopping hairstyles for their latest collections. Although no designer’s style is alike, each new fashion line provides the perfect canvas for TRESemmé stylists to polish the looks with gorgeous hair. Each designer’s unique style helps TRESemmé make this a reality, drawing inspiration from Minkoff’s chic yet edgy apparel line, Webb’s combination of masculine and feminine style and Packham’s elegant evening and bridal wear.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week attendees were treated to on-site styling services at the TRESemmé Trend Bar, the brand’s two-story salon and lounge, featuring complimentary dry styling and tips from TRESemmé professionals, and samples of the latest TRESemmé products to ensure women feel front-row ready for the day.

Gisele Bündchen is The Face & Also The Voice of H&M’s Autumn Campaign!

Exciting news! My most favorite model of them all, the stunning Gisele Bündchen is the new face and voice of H&M’s Autumn Campaign 2013! Yes, Voice too! The international supermodel will wear the season’s essential pieces at H&M, a tough but feminine look straight from the streets of utilitarian coats and blazers worn with blouses, sweatshirts and trousers. In a world exclusive, Gisele will also be singing in the campaign which includes TV and online commercials, as well as print and billboard advertising, debuting on September 12. The song, “All Day And All Of The Night”, by The Kinks, will be available for free download from hm.com, and will also be on iTunes, raising money for UNICEF. For every single download from iTunes, H&M will make a donation to UNICEF to enable the purchase of vaccines for children. Cant Wait!

Fashion Week Aftermath!

I was shocked when I came across these pictures taken of models’ feet during Louis Vuitton S/S 2012 fashion show! 😯 Poor feet, they must have been through hell and back to look this bad! I find it disturbing and alarming that models are forced to cram their feet into seriously hard-to-walk in shoes and do this day after day for weeks!

Do you guys think this is ok? or do you find it shocking that a fashion house big as Louis Vuitton allowed these models to come out on their show with their feet looking like this?!

After her last public appearance, Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel was hammered by the press for looking ‘too thin’!! The 22-year-old South African beauty revealed a ‘strikingly thin’ figure while modeling the lingerie label’s new line of swimwear lately!
