Up, Close, & Personal with Bazaar Magazine

Bazaar Interview

Last month, it was so exciting to be approached by the lovely Yasmine El Charif, Staff Writer and Social Media at one of my favorite magazines in town, Bazaar, as she was interested in interviewing me for the Up Close & Personal segment in the magazine, to talk a little about my blog, my relatively new styling & image consultancy, Posh Fairy, and a bit about my life. Today, the issue is finally out! Read the full interview, here, and don’t forget to grab your copy in one of these locations.

Exclusive: Red Bull Wanna Panna – The Coverage

I got the chance to attend Red Bull Wanna Panna event last friday, it took place at Souk Sharq, and it was a street football concept, that participants had one on one rounds, and all they had to do is score the ball in between their opponent’s legs!

It was really fun to watch! fierce and tough yet really amusing! I’ve never heard about ‘Panna’ before, and I came to know this is the first time such sport is addressed here in K-town! Panna is an exciting new variation of football, it teaches the importance of control and individual skills. Modern football relies on speed and skills and mastering Panna will help you achieve that goal. In recent years Panna football has taken on a new meaning; it is part today of a growing street football scene that includes freestylers.

The winner of the competition was Dhari Al-Hajri, After a close fought battle in the final round with Seoud Al-Failakawi which ended in draw in both full time and extra time, Al-Hajri managed to impress the judges who unanimously chose him for his skills and talent. Third place went to Ali Malallah.

Congrats :)
