I Came home the other day to find this little red hood-picnic style basket in Kuwaiti traditional dress delivered by Diet Center, a personalized message, some healthy and delicious goodies, not to forget the nutrition facts of the servings. Very cute, and I must say those Chocoballs are ADDICTIVE! Thank you Diet Center for the thoughtful gesture, and mubarak 3alaikum al shahar.

Ramadan is not only considered to be the most spiritual month in the Islamic calendar but is also a time for families and friends to reunite in peace, prayer and piety. Fasting from sunrise to sunset as a form of spiritual cleansing, self-discipline and empathy for the less fortunate, Muslims during Ramadan practice tolerance, forgiveness and perform good deeds. It is in this spirit that photographers are invited to share their best photography in a unique and unprecedented 30-day visual celebration that will educate and enlighten thousands of viewers around the world.

On the occasion of the opening of their new store location, Safat Home organized a Ramadan social media event dedicated to the local bloggers.
They offer a wide range of building material, home furniture and accessories for a complete home shopping destination. Will be definitely going back there with hubby
The evening started with a presentation by Safat Home staff, telling us their social media plans for the month of Ramadan. They will be holding online contests for their fans and followers on twitter & instagram.
Then the fun began, our play time! We were asked to look into the envelopes inside these bags placed for each of us on our seats.
And this is what we got! A collage of images of items that can be found around Safat Home! The deal is simple, finders keepers! We find the item in the store, take an image, upload it to instagram with the hashtag #Safathome! The first person to upload an image of one of the items will take the same item home
And these are the photos I took! I found everything ‘with some help of the sales people at the store’
Wasn’t so fast snapping most of these pictures though except for one! And this is my winning
Thank you Safat Home for the invitation and for a light fun evening. Safat home new store is located at Shuwaikh, opposite Abyat. Follow them on Instagram and twitter @Safat_Home to take part of their ongoing contests.
