The above acoustic experiment for Google voice search was conducted in the middle of the Australian desert by two Google Australia engineers, using a Samsung Galaxy S II Android smart phone and two Parabolic Mirrors. The other experiment below was conducted for the same purpose underwater on the Great Barrier Reef, using a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo Android smart phone and a Transducer.
