The Celebrate Exhibition
Following a very successful exhibit last September 2012, The Celebrate Exhibition is back! Keeping brides, and those who love events, design and decoration in constant inspiration. Brides and people hosting events need many services; from planners to caterers to chocolatiers and beauty specialists, and also bed linens, dresses, and home accessories for gifts or for their new homes. The Exhibition will take place in the Al-Baraka Ballroom, near the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Farwaniya , March 5-7 2012, From 11:00 am to 9:00 pm.
The talented and world famous cake designer Sylvia Weinstock will be guest of honor; visiting the event, and giving a wonderful speech about her life and her company, she will be showing slides of her creations and discussing the bridal Industry. With so many cake designers and bakeries in Kuwait. Sylvia, would be beneficial to helping them all learn and strive to be as amazing as she is. Joining in at the event as well, will be the creative and Savvy founder of the prestigious “thebridalcircle.com” to speak about the online wedding industry and all of her great connections and experiences. The talks will be held in the Al-Baraka Ballroom on the 6th of march at 8:30 pm, and will be limited to those who reserve and book seats in advance.
Through out the event there will be 2 sessions of floral arranging courses taught by the very famous Jane Packer floral school of London. One will be held Tuesday the 5th of march at 6:00 pm and the second course will be 6th of march at 11:00 am. The attendees will be learning how to make a hand tied bouquet as well as a table arrangement.

Beauty Bar Finally Has a Store!
I’ve been ordering from mybeautybar.net since the beginning of time, and they FINALLY opened an actual store! I was thrilled, and decided to passed by as soon as I heard the news. Now for those of you who aren’t familiar with Beauty Bar, they are an online website offering beauty products such as Alterna, Peter Thomas Roth Clinical Skin Care, Zoya, Cake, Urban Rituelle. I ordered from them so many times, sometimes got lucky and some others I didn’t end up liking the actual product! But now I can finally see the item before buying it!
The place is sunny, and very colorful; puts you in the perfect mood to get beautified! They have a huuuge shelf of Zoya nail polish in every possible color you could imagine!

P2BK2013: A Village for Kuwait!
You must have heard by now something or two about the recently announced P2BK2013. I attended the press conference last week at Al Hashimi during which they revealed the insights of their upcoming event, scheduled for 2 whole weeks this time, kicking start early in March, the word is, you don’t wanna miss it, they are going to impress!
Loved their theme this year; inspired by traditional Kuwaiti items! Take your time looking at it and you’ll see what I mean!
Remember last year’s artistic journey? The falcons that were displayed in 360 mall and on P2BK2012 location throughout the event? It’s back this year, only the participates will have to get creative with the model of al-seef palace pictured below; cant wait to see what they’ll make out of it!
And the conference begins
Starting the speech was media figure Barakat Al-Wuqayan; highlighting his personal history with P2BK from year 1, through the years, until today, and affirming his continuing support to the project, before introducing P2BK founder Dhari Al-Wazzan, to talk more about the details of their upcoming event; P2BK village!
The Minister of Information, his highness, sheikh / Salman Sabah Al Salem Al Humoud Al Sabah was the guest of honor and he emphasized the importance of the youth for the development of the country.
We then listened to a bit more on the importance of this project for Kuwait from the representatives of this year’s main sponsors, Faisal Khajah from Abyat, and Waleed Al Khashti from Zain.
Eh Voila! P2BK2013 village model! Check out the size and the details put into this year’s event, they are upgrading to a whole new level! Building their own set from scratch, on a piece of land located in Mishref fair ground! Everything will be created by P2BK team for their event this time.
The village will consist of 9 main areas as shown in the map and the images of the model below
Impressive, isn’t it? Can’t wait for the event and to see what P2BK team has in store!
