Liv Tyler Sings Need You Tonight For Givenchy Campaign

Surprised that I just stumbled upon this video campaign, debuted about a year ago, INXS’s Need You Tonight, sang by Liv Tayler for the launch of Givenchy’s Very Irrésistible Electric Rose! Yeah I know, very old news, but I loved the video and had to share it! Enjoy xx

Beyoncé in H&M Summer Collection

bsummer

H&M just announced a new partnership for its summer campaign with global superstar Beyoncé. The entertainer, who kicks off her sold out Mrs. Carter Show World Tour on April 15, will appear in television and print ads featuring pieces from the H&M summer collection. The print and outdoor billboards introduce “Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter in H&M”, the idea that all women can be all things: strong, vulnerable, sensual, maternal, fun, flirtatious. The clothing will be available beginning May in H&M stores worldwide and online.

Conscious Exclusive at H&M: More Sustainable Fashion Full of Hollywood Glamour!

Hollywood glamour comes to H&M this spring with
Conscious Exclusive – a party wear collection made from more
sustainable materials. The collection features clothing and
accessories for both men and women, and is part of H&M’s
Conscious work to offer more sustainable fashion. Materials used in
the collection include organic cotton, recycled polyester, recycled
polyamide and Tencel. The Conscious Exclusive collection will be
available in around 140 stores worldwide as well as online from
April 4, 2013. 8103_w15_LB_01 8103_w15_LB_02 8103_w15_LB_03 8103_w15_LB_04 8103_w15_LB_06 8103_w15_LB_07 8103_w15_LB_08 8103_w15_LB_09 8103_w15_LB_12 8103_w15_LB_13 8103_w15_LB_16 There are so many options
for living the Hollywood life. An off-white loose kimono has a
bohemian air of faded glamour, especially with its trousers that
fall right to the floor; a jumpsuit has modern edge with its
cut-away back; a demure white dress has rock and roll touch with
its sheer sleeves, asymmetric train and bird embroidery; and there
are seemingly endless layers of tulle in a corseted dress which
feels like it has stepped out of the old world. The collection is
completed with accessories, such as an embellished box clutch and
elegant minimal heels with the tiniest of ankle straps. The men’s
Conscious Exclusive collection brings real attitude to spring
tailoring. A slim-fitted jacket has a classic shape which is turned
bold and dramatic by fringing down the back of both sleeves. A
collarless white shirt has a bow tie attached, which is elegant
when tied and dandyish when left undone – perfect worn with a black
three-piece tuxedo. It’s the details that count, like the
old-fashioned button braces on a white pair of trousers that make
up one part of a white three-piece suit, or the rose print which
lines the inside of a tuxedo jacket. As with the women’s
collection, each piece is made from more sustainable materials –
part of H&M’s commitment to more sustainable fashion, both
today and tomorrow. 8103_w15_SL_01 8103_w15_SL_02 8103_w15_SL_03 8103_w15_SL_05 8103_w15_SL_07 8103_w15_SL_08 8103_w15_SL_09 8103_w15_SL_11 8103_w15_SL_12 8103_w15_SL_13 8103_w15_SL_14 8103_w15_SL_15 8103_w15_SL_16 8103_w15_SL_17 8103_w15_SL_18 8103_w15_SL_20 8103_w15_SL_21 8103_w15_SL_22 8103_w15_SL_23 8103_w15_SL_24 8103_w15_SL_25 8103_w15_SL_26 8103_w15_SL_29 8103_w15_SL_30 8103_w15_SL_31 8103_w15_SL_32 8103_w15_SL_35 8103_w15_SL_36 8103_w15_SL_37 8103_w15_SL_38 8103_w15_SL_39 8103_w15_SL_40 8103_w15_SL_41 8103_w15_SL_42 8103_w15_SL_43

7th Annual Grazia Style Awards: Get Ready For The Most Stylish Event of The Year!

Grazia Style Awards 2013

The Grazia Style Awards 2013, the most anticipated and certainly the most stylish night of the year, will see the region’s fashion elite come together on March 26 at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai to toast the finest and the most influential individuals in the industry. As anticipated, the event has – once again – attracted the most glamorous and sought-after names on today’s global fashion scene: bright young things Amber Le Bon and Zara Martin playing hosts of the awards ceremony and hip young designer duo Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, to name just a few of the international talents who will descend upon Dubai.

amber_le_bon

Model and muse of the moment Amber Le Bon, the daughter of supermodel Yasmin and Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon, has been making waves in the modelling world as an ambassador for Moschino Cheap & Chic, the face of Smashbox cosmetics and this season’s Karen Millen campaign. She has graced the pages of American Vogue, British Vogue, Tatler and Harper’s Bazaar magazines and this season, even launched a capsule collection with Michael Kors, part of the designer’s ‘Kors Collaborations’ series.

Zara Martin

With her unique rock ’n’ roll image and imitable fashion sense, the multi-talented Zara Martin has been generating incredible hype as the young woman tipped for big things in the worlds of television and fashion. Suffice it to say, she has proven her worth every time: as a model for Agent Provocateur and a designer for the Body Amr & Zara Martin collection; as a presenter at London Fashion Weekend and a DJ, providing the tunes for the likes of Chanel, Versace, Fendi and New Look.

Grazia

Created in 2007 to champion, nurture and honour those who are pushing the boundaries of fashion, propelling the industry forward and setting the style agenda on a local and regional scale, the Grazia Style Awards celebrates the breadth and depth of talent in the fashion industry from emerging stars to established designer brands, from retailers to fashion enthusiasts – readers and bloggers – across 18 categories.

Two additional categories will be celebrated at this year’s Grazia Style Awards: the Best Regional Accessory Designer, which gives recognition to an individual who has carved his or her own niche and is taking the industry by storm, and the Emerging Talent, the highest accolade bestowed on a promising fashion talent in the local industry, whether that be an influential photographer, illustrator, model or stylist.

Grazia Awards 2012 at madinat Jumeirah Ballroom,

“The Grazia Style Awards is a celebration of the entire fashion community, from designers to retailers and influencers. We’re delighted to recognise the exceptional individuals and brands who have defined our fashion industry over the past year, and look forward to announcing them in style at this year’s awards ceremony,” says Elaine Lloyd-Jones, Editor of Grazia Middle East.

Voting is open to public who can cast their vote for their favorites until March 22 through Ahlanlive.com. Voters will automatically enter a prize draw to win a fabulous Dhs18,500 capsule designer wardrobe for spring/summer 2013, selected by the Grazia team. Tables for the Grazia Style Awards ceremony can be booked until March 22.

H&M Debuts Autumn 2013 Collection at Paris Fashion Week

Ashley Olsen, Chloe Moretz and Emma Roberts were among the guests in Paris as H&M presented its first ever catwalk show during Fashion Week. H&M’s Autumn Collection 2013 was shown to an audience in a specially created space within the grounds of the Musée Rodin. The catwalk show, which combined tailored shapes with delicate dresses to create a tomboy spirit, gave the audience the chance to see H&M’s fashion in line with the international fashion schedule. The collection will be available in around 200 stores worldwide, as well as online, from September 5, 2013.

Jennifer Lawrence Replaces Mila Kunis for Miss Dior

001-jennifer-lawrence-Dior

Jennifer Lawrence is replaces Mila Kunis for Miss Dior! Rumor has it, she’d been let go because of her weight! That sounds just crazy to me! I like both of them though, but I’m favoring Mila just a tad bit. What do you think?

Rihanna Debut River Island Collection At London Fashion Week

000

The highly anticipated Rihanna for River Island capsule collection finally debuted at London Fashion Week! The clothes were urban in flavor, with crop tops, thigh-high slits and battered denim; Rihanna have said before that she wanted her line to fit “different moods” and “different attitudes” while being “casual, chic, and flirty.” Hands down, she served her cause! I did not fall in love with the collection, but I’m definitely eyeing some pieces, and can’t wait for them to hit stores on 5th March. If you missed the show, you can watch it, here.
